Reset a Forgotten Password

You will use your full Roane State email address (i.e. smith@roanestate.edu) when logging into Roane State systems.

Forgot Password: If you already know your Roane State email, you can attempt a password reset by clicking Forgot Password.

Passwords must be composed of a minimum of fourteen (14) characters. For employees, complexity will be required.

Forgot Email/Username: If you do NOT know your Roane State email, you can look it up by clicking Email/Username Lookup.

Change Password: If you just need to change your current password, you can change it by first logging into your Microsoft account here.
